I'm an 80's baby, chemistry professor, and stern advocate for true Diversity & Inclusion in academia. My short-term goals are developing teaching & research agendas at Benedict College that will thoroughly prepare my students to indulge in their desired career paths. My long-term goals are defeating the stereotypes that linger upon persons from underprivileged backgrounds like myself, especially in STEM. I plan to achieve this by ultimately establishing an impactful research program aimed at enhancing the overall quality of life.
